She started her career as a partner in 1985 gaining hands on experience in the Taxation. Over the period of 35 years, she has worked with innumerable firms, channeling her experience in the field of Direct Taxation. In 2017 she introduced a GST wing in the firm and assisted clientele from various industries in the domain GST and has conducted a comprehensive audit in many organizations.
She specializes in handling tax litigations for corporate as well as non-corporate clients before the Income Tax Appellate Tribunals at Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Rajkot and Surat. She has served as Secretary of The Income Tax Appellate Bar Association, Ahmedabad.
She handles the International as well as Domestic Transfer Pricing Advisory assignments of the firm relating to Benchmarking of Transactions, International Certification in taxation leveraging tax benefits under Indian Tax Laws and DTAA – with a special focus on devising tax strategies leveraging tax benefits available under the Indian Tax Laws and DTAA.
She has been an avid reader since the beginning of her career and has contributed to various articles. She has delivered lectures and Seminars, participated in panel discussions as well as heading Technical Sessions pertaining to the subject matter of Taxation and the laws associated with it.
With commendable experience in the area of taxation, she has guided, mentored, and directed a team of tax experts in tax planning and comprehensive tax audits at various levels across different organizations.
She is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and a commerce graduate.
